A consistent performer in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers league table, IBM is one of the most sought-after graduate recruiters - employing some 350 graduates annually. The world's largest information technology and consulting company has more than 300,000 employees in more than 160 countries and its turnover topped $95 billion (£50 billion) for the first time last year. Approximately a third of its graduate vacancies are now in the business consulting services division, IBM Global Business Services. This means that having an IT degree is not a requirement, but a keen interest in technology, excellent communication skills and an understanding of how business works are essential.
