| This search panel allows you to enter information to search for up to three different makes of cars. You can enter as much or as little information to carry out a search as you like, the minimum requirement being selection of a make and model. One important factor to bear in mind is the less information you enter the larger the size of the result and the longer it will take for the search to be carried out. As long as any one field is entered, you can initiate a search. If you decide to carry out a search for more than one model, simply pick that same make again and the model you're looking for. As mentioned you can carry out a search for up to three different makes at any one time, simply choose the makes and models with as much detail as you like and click on Search Now. e.g. if you might want to carry out a search for a Mercedes C240 and BMW 325i. |
| Search Navigation |
| The navigation bar flicks through the pages of your search results. The single highlighted arrow allows you to view the next ten cars or click the double arrows to view the next five pages. You may also click the page number to go directly to that page. |

| Search Hit List |
| Each page in the Search Hit List displays up to ten vehicles. The Search Hit List displays all the vehicles in the database which match the search criteria you entered; the fields displayed are: Year/Reg, Model and Colour, Mileage, Price, Location and finally if there is/are any photograph/s available for the vehicle. |
| Hit List Sorting |
The Hit List presented is sorted by price ascending, however, you can sort the list for any of the fields in either an ascending or descending order. The arrow next to the column name denotes whether the field is sorted,  not sorted,  sorted ascending or  sorted descending. If you click on the , you will sort the list into an ascending order, click on again and it will be sorted into a descending order.
- Mercedes-Benz - this is the manufacturer name
- C180 - this is the model of vehicle
- Elegance - this is the model variant. Each model may have several variants, which denote the features included with the vehicle
- Azurite Blue - this is the vehicle colour. Colours are described using the manufacturer's colour name.
- Mushroom Hide - this is the vehicle trim
- £18995 - this is the price of the vehicle
- Inside M25 - this is the location of the vehicle
 - this symbol indicates whether there is a photograph available
